Polymyxin B Sulfate, CAS No. 1405-20-5. is used clinically for infections and inflammations caused by sensitive bacteria and by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Functions:
This product is used for anti-gram-negative bacilli mainly Pseudomonas aeruginosa caused by infections, including urinary tract infections, meningitis, lung infections, sepsis and skin, soft tissue, eye, ear, joint infections. It is also effective in treating infections caused by other negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Pneumococcus, and Influenza bacteria, which are completely cross-resistant to this product and Polymyxin E.
